What kinds of information do we collect?
1) Zip codes: Letting you know where you can buy ConsensusBest-rated products locally is at the heart of our service. ConsensusBest.com asks for zip code information first and foremost so we can list stores in your defined shopping area that carry the products you research. We ask for the zip code where you want to shop, not necessarily where you live. If you find that we don't yet offer local store data for your area, you can still view our product recommendations.

ConsensusBest.com analyzes aggregated demographic information, including zip code information, and may share that data and analysis with advertisers and/or affiliates for the purpose of providing a broad demographic profile of our users base as a whole. This information does not identify individual users.

2) e-mail addresses: For now, we collect e-mail addresses only from those users who choose to correspond directly with ConsensusBest.com, and we will use them only to directly respond to your question or comment. We will never share your e-mail address with anyone without explicit permission from you.

We may ask for such permission when we want to occasionally share information with you about ConsensusBest.com or when we come across potentially valuable information and/or offers from third-parties.
